Hello there khim kwatro
I have a friend from your country and she cooked me and Jim a meal once and I am sure that it was chicken adobo that she cooked and I have to say it was really quite good.
Anyway, what did I have for lunch today?
Well once again the answer to this question is infact that I did not eat anything at lunch time once again today.
We stayed up most of the night watching the Winter Olympic Games and didnnt get to sleep until about 6am GMT so there was little or no chance of us being up in time for lunch, and we werent.
We havent really been up much in time for lunch at all since the Winter Olympics started and I think its unlikely we will be until the Games have finished.
Yvonne, are you watching the Winter Olympics live? or are they tape-delayed?
Anyhow, I had Ginger Beef Donburi for lunch today - basically Ginger Beef rice - Japanese-style. _________________ Well, once we had an easy ride and always felt the same

Well its too early to talk about my lunch today because I still haven't even had breakfast but I will talk about yesterday's lunch. We were out shopping and decided to stop in the Local Legion for a beer and ended up having a cheeseburger too. It was quite good and very filling, especially with the beer. It was loaded with lettuce, tomato, mustard, ketchup and relish.
i had a ham and cucumber and english mustard sandwich on brown bread, followed by a crust of brown bread with peanut butter and black pepper on it. and that's more then enough bread for one day, but i am not home, so it was all that was available and actually i am not complaining. _________________ roar like sushi! o0o0o0o0o0o ...

I had my favorite Pork Sisig for lunch today, it is a local and famous dish here in my country and I love that food though it is high in cholesterol _________________ my first baby..

We get the games Live my friend. The BBC have coverage of the whole lot and they have a live show and an interactive service where its all live. You are 8 hours behind us so stuff you see at 5pm we see live at 1am our time. I thought I had bookmarked the link on this machine but I havent. But check google "watch winter olympics live online" - you will find this link
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/olympic_games/vancouver_2010/default.stm
You will see the live coverage button and schedule. Isnt technology great. Thats why we have been sitting up until 6am our time, lol
We didnt have any lunch once again today, we were not up in time due to watching the Winter Olympic games until about 6am. Thats when we went to bed to sleep, lol so we didnt get up until about 4pm. To late for lunch methinks.
Today for lunch I had tuna salad in a tortilla wrap. I also added a few slices of cucumber and radishes to my tuna wrap. It was quite good and to wash it all down I decided to have a vodka/diet coke which is not my usual drink but every once in awhile I like to have one or two
Ha Ha- thats the 3 meal posts one after the other where there has been no input at all over the weekend - strange but true.
So I am assuming now that none of us eat on Saturday and Sunday.
Anyway, lunch today, well no lunch was had by me thats for sure.
When Jim went out in the morning I must have fallen back to sleep because the next thing I remember was hearing him come in the door in the afternoon.
I bet all of you reading this must think I am a right lazy so and so and lately that might be the case right enough.
Yes well Lunch was a non event again today but at least I was up early enough for a bite to eat pre Dinner time which means I have at least eaten semi properly.
I guess that says it all really and there isnt much more to add except to say when the weather is warmer and Spring arrives we will both be up at the crack of dawn and be eating Breakfast every day and Lunch as well but that might be about 3 or 4 weeks away yet.
Insha - allah
Well its a bit early to be discussing lunch yet but since I didn't post about it yesterday, I will tell you about it now. We went out for lunch to a really nice deli in our downtown area. I had a cup of potato/ham soup which was delicious and half of a ruben sandwich. The ruben was done in a wrap and was grilled. Oh my, was it good. I'm really glad that we decided to share the sandwich because after eating the soup and my half, I was quite full. To drink I had a rye and ginger and I must say the waitress was quite liberal when pouring the rye which is rare in these parts.
I have come to the conclusion that I shouldnt really visit this post every day and give the same answer but once again today was a no lunch day for Jim and I.
We had a late late raunchy night last night and there was no way either of us were going to be up in time for lunch.
Now you will all be wondering just what a couple of Scottish 49 year olds could be doing that was so raunchy that it would keep them up all night and make it so they didnt get out of bed until after the middle of the afternoon.
Well members who are in the Up Close and Personal usergroup might just find out if either of us post about it.
Well worth missing lunch for, trust me on that.
Had a ham and swiss sandwich with salad as I had eaten an Egg McMuffin at coffee break. I just wanted something lite to eat. The price was also cheaper than the regular item that I usually ordered. _________________ Well, once we had an easy ride and always felt the same
