from my childhood I heard that dogs are honest animal amongst all pet animal. But I found that they are only barking at someone who is hatred to them and licking cheek if they like someone and both the act are dirty as per my opinion. ANd I never understand that On what way they are honest?
Pls help me to clarify?????

Hii dove Honest means they are honest with their owner.They are very very attach to the owner thats why blind people and older people keep dog as a company.They dont harm their owner like other animal may do.
They dont have six sense who is thief and who isnt.They bark on people who look suspicious to them.

yes they sure are loyal. infact they are known for their loyalty and reliability. i have seen many cases where a dog saves the owners life!

Dogs do indeed make faithful and loyal pets if the owners look after them and train them properly. Other dogs wont be if they arent brought up properly.

I agree with Piya, they are honest with there owners and dogs are very loyal among pets. We also used to have a pet dog before and there are barking with the strangers and they will wiggle there tail once they saw us.

dogs are honest in my opinion in the fact they are loyal to there owners they will do anything the owner asks them too just to please there owner, they will never leave your side and always be a faithful companion, never be too buisy to be there for you when you need comfort and be a totaly loyal friend for just a bowl of food a day, unfortunately this is there biggest let down though as this is the reason they are so mistreated by owners as they are loyal no matter what

Actually they are honest, they bark to the ones they hate, you can instantly see who are the ones they hated the most. I mean they don't lie, if someone has hurted them they can instantly bark at them and you will feel they don't like that person or that person has hurted them before. My male dog hate kids, he hate laughing out loud, the running and the loud noise around everything. They are honest, they can express themselves easily.

hello dove. you are using a wrong term. dogs are loyal not honest. i said loyal because if you treat the dogs well. the dogs will become loyal.

I have to agree with krisnel. The term "loyal" is more appropriate when it comes to dogs. But for one thing, I would like to know if there's some way to detect if dogs are pretty honest. Because I want to know from my puppies, Shadow and Adda, who pooped at the spot where they know they are not allowed to do so!

the dog is the best people friend... and it is the truth! the dogs searchig and help people in the mountains where is a lot of snow or in the water. they help for blind people too and etc.
the dogs always trying to help as much as they know how to do it.
i do not agree with the theme author that the dogs are honest animal. Why? Because they never will be honest if you do not like them!
for my opinion the dogs are really honest animal, because i have had a lot of animals in my chilhood and the dogs always will be the number 1...
when i was sad, the dogs was trying to make me smile, even you can talk with them and will get an answer or they show that they understand you and etc..

I really do not know if they are honest. My dog is not. When I see something like a garbage at home I know he was the one who did it of scattering that one but he did not admit or he just don't want to do it. I believe honestly have different meanings from them. Honestly can define when they are never get tired of seeing their master going home. Licking them, kissing them and even bark for them. They are honest that they are very happy to have seen them back home. They are also honest when they show on their faces they are worried why their master hasn't come home yet when they know the time of their arrival. My dog is like that. That is why I am so happy to be their master. They had proven their love on me many times.
