My college is over two year ago. In India Most of cases their is parents who finance study for their child. Parents here are more concern about their child future rather than entertainment of life.
my parents financed my college education even though i have been school hopping ^^.. i went to three different colleges and took two different courses but i finally graduated with a major in Computer Science.. anyway, during my latter years at school, i took a part time job as our College Dean's assistant, so i was able to somehow helped with my tuition fee and my daily allowance.. _________________ ~ YOU are my life.. the rest are just details.. ~

My parents are the one who support my study in college. They did everything to support me and I would be able to grduate. Because they said that it is the only treasure that they can give to us. _________________ my first baby..

Wow jen! That is really great, Your company pays some of your tuition while working. Your parents must really be proud of you. Well, me? Now I suddenly want to have a part time job because I don't have much subjects this semester. I only go and attend class everyday 2 to 3 hours everyday. After that I go back to home and sleep! Then when I wake up, for sure I will be using computer until the night comes. Everyday I do that and that makes me tired.. So I really want a part time job. Piya is great she gave me an account were I can do tasks and earn. But I'm still starting and I haven't been paid, there's still no task that had been approve yet. _________________ I just have to do on my own thing, no matter what anyone says. No one will finance my education for me And that's why I can't go to school next semester. I'm trying to save up on my own. My dad was willing to co-sign a student loan for me, but we got declined due to his poor credit, of all the things! And my mom is out of my life (her choice - not mine) and would definitely not co-sign or get a loan out in my name. Nope. Those were about my only options. I get a tad bit of financial aid because I live with a single parent, my dad, but no scholarships (and trust me - I've tried! And applied for just about every one of them under the sun). I can't afford it, simply put. i just got a second job though, and I'm hoping before fall 2010 rolls around I'll be able to afford at least the upcoming semester of college. After that, I'm not sure what to do. It's hard when you don't have people supporting you or helping you out financially, especially when you make $8 an hour, part-time, at the local dry cleaners and have bills to pay. *sigh*. But waa waa waa, right? I'll quit complaining now.
are you from a country where education is very much difficult to afford. in my country its just a few thousand rupees a year and i am a bachelor or post graduate . its not a problem any student can take up some coursese to pay his education fees. so we are in a way fortunate to have this system.
my parents decided i study in a local college. i was eldest of seven and they had a hard time getting us schooled. i had to avail of a student assistance program. you work for the school in your free hours. and you get some form of stipend. all other expenses, my parent shouldered.
had i been able to i would have studied architecture in the nearest city, and still of course under a student assistance program.
My parents financed my college education and I'm currently enrolled in a private institute for engineering. I'm not done in college as of yet but I did mention my parents financed my college education because I'm the one saving up to be enrolled in the next term. I'm not enrolled this term so I have plenty of time to earn the right amount in the right time, hopefully. I'm currently finding a job for myself that wouldn't affect the schedule of my classes when I enrolled. So far no employer had taken my bait because of my time constraints
