Some friends of mine are self-employed, so they are not committed to one person or one company. They say that the must have good work ethics, have self-discipline, be honest and reliable. They take full responsibility for their time management. _________________ http://recentandoldarticles.blogspot.com/
I think all the things you say are correct, and being your own boss, well, you soon learn all these skills as it quite quickly becomes apparent that you will only get out that which you put in
I have been working as freelancer for 2 years. I enjoy my work. I still have boss though which is my clients and I work for a company too as part time drafter-designer. The problem is I must manage my money carefully since I don't have regular income. _________________ Everything is conspired

I think we all have to manage our money properly. I know I do. I think that when we have no other source of income apart from what we earn on a self employed basis we tend to value it more, and as a result become better financial managers. I dont think we waste money the same, well I dont.
i am self employed and i am proud of it.I tried idfferent jobs when i was in college. It wasnt good experiance at all.Hell lot of bakpolitics was major problem.I was realy sick to face that everyday.SO when afterwards i get ooportunity to be self emplyed i just jump on it.Never went for job again.
when u have the right foundation to start business or self employed urself i think its a good idea to become self- employed
but when u dont have a job yet, dont have enough money to start anything, dont have relatives or connection to help you out... i think its better to work for someone first.. i mean.. its best to build ur foundation first then u could be succeed, this is my personal experience _________________ Pm me for more info

Work at home or at the beach with your mobile office on the internet is what many are trying to achieve. Some fail and some become rich.
There is a very secure no risk way to find work you can do from any internet connected computer. I am talking about a website which joins up job seekers with employers. Their focus is on online jobs. They are free to join. They ask a small commission on your earnings through them. So they only get money if you do. They can therefore not scam you. They have a big load of different online jobs in their database ranging from webdevelopment to typing jobs etc. If you want more information pm me.

yeah, many people tried that, but not many succeed. as the image of not going to workplace is not really common. but I think not very few have made it about ur post, are u talking about making an outsourcing online job seeker place? _________________ Pm me for more info
Everybody wants to be self employed but its not in our hands.Sometimes we need to work for others to earn some extra money or just to start our own business in future.Just a difference is that if you do job you will get your salary at the end of the month for sure while in business it depends on how your work is running.Than also i prefer Self Employment. _________________ Amit
For me it would be better to be self-employed because I won't have to follow orders, but running your own business could be very difficult. When you are an employee, you just do whatever task is assigned to you. That's it. You don't think of anything else. But when you run your own business, you have to think of the whole business itself.
I think that it probably depends on the person and what the business is. I work at a local computer center, I have a second job as a personal assistant (mainly data entry so far, but I was told I would eventually be helping them learn more areas of the computer as well and also be typing stuff the boss dictates to me), but I also have a computer business I do for moonlighting in my spare time. I started this business after my Mom, my brother, a bunch of friends, and a bunch of classmates were constantly asking me for help with the computer. I figured that as long as I was being asked for help all the time, I might as well try to make some extra money out of it (especially since I would much rather earn money than borrow it). Right now, I am pretty much the only person running the business, but I have been going through the government steps so I can hire employees and help more customers. Although the customers are inconsistent which is the reason for the two regular jobs, I have lost out on some customers because the schedules didn't coordinate and I'm not going to tell a supervisor I can't come in because there's a potential customer that wants my help. I want to keep my jobs. LOL.
Both have different advantage and dis advantage. Working with your own, meaning you do not have Boss, ordering you around and you manage your own time, but the dis advantage is there is no financial stability, that was my personal experienced. While as employed, your salary is fixed and it comes on time. _________________ apservices
i am myself self employed. But its not easy at all.Its a continuous struggle. One should have tough mentality to face failures and all up and downs.
But if your work is your passion, nothing can stop you.I sometime work crazy 15 hours a day to achieve targets. _________________ London bridge is falling down.

Well I work for me been doing for about 7 months. For a makeup slaes company mark its under avon. I only sell mark not avon. I have my own mark e boutique and all on my own I control my own sales times and days. I cna be away form home and earning money thats so cool and great. All becasue my customers are faithfull. I also do some online clicking ads site like you data pays every friday. Also only earning reading emails so great and monavie distribuator.
I think it is better to be self-employed than to have a boss. Actually, I am already working on it so I could be the boss of my own company. It's just that the first investment I had did not worked out. SOme of my staffs cheated on me that is why the business did not materialized. Anyways, the epxerience I had there is a lesson learned to me.
Being the boss entails a lot of responsibility. There are times that you even have to work 24 hours a day just to hget everything done. But still, I prefer it that way instead of be somebody's slave.
All times are GMT - 4 Hours Goto page Previous1, 2, 3, 4Next
