I always pray everday and thank the Lord for blessing me and my family a long life. My parents right now are really old and my father often get sick. I'm really bothered when my parents get sick because there's always a fear in my mind of loosing them because of their age. Everytime I pray, I always ask for an extension of life and good health. I also ask forgiveness for all the wrong things I've done in my everyday life and I ask for the courage to stay within me to be able to fight the trials that we go through.

i have put the same answer to another post on what i usually ask in my prayers in another thread but i will answer the same. i pray for forgiveness for my sins, for guidance and protection safeness for my family and everyone else, peace on earth, thanksgiving for all the blessings that we received and to ask for more blessings.

My daily prayer is for my family and parents to stay longer. To stick with each other, to be strong when it comes of problems. To avoid them to get sick. I ask for forgiveness of our sins and even my family and friends sins. I ask for help over problems of me and other people I love. I ask for safety of every each person I love, wherever they are now. I thank God for his blessing and ask for his blessings too. I ask God about questions about life and meaning of my dreams. I ask God's help over a strong decision I will make. I ask for help for my country, even for leaders. I ask forgiveness over what people had done to me and to ease the hurt I am feeling, I ask him to take it away. I even ask him someone to love me and be loved me, a person who is needing me and I will be needing to.

daily prayers are really important.. i have to admit though that there have been times i was too tired to even pray at night and would dozed off to sleep.. i believe too that when talking to God anytime.. that is also a sort of prayer..

I am the same as what you feel. I still have a parents and that is a blessing because some have no longer have theirs. I am thankful to have them at this old. Whenever they feel sick i am bothered too, but I am not thinking negative as I am positive they are strong and they have strength to live as the days goes by. I love my parents that is why I also pray for them. I pray for my sins and their sins. If ever I am the one who first to die, atleast before I get to sleep I already asked for forgiveness of my sins. And I ask for my parents too. I also pray that the Typhoon, Earthquake and Tsunami already stop. I do believe that God is doing it so that it lessen the volume of people on Earth. Too sad to know there are many number of deaths as we live our day everyday. Maybe I will be one one day, so that I always pray for my soul and for the souls of my family too.
