Well I never wanted to watch American Idol before. But now that Ellen will be on, I'm game! I think seeing her fling it back to Simon Cowell will be amusing, because she is funny without being mean spirited.
Before I thought nobody can replace Paula Abdul but now, since they announced that Ellen will be the 4th judge, I'm excited to watch the show. I think Ellen is super funny. Hopefully her wackiness in her show will carry over in American Idol...

I also heard such feedback when AI announces that Ellen will be the replacement of Paula. I haven't watch the show of Ellen yet but I believe that she really have the heart for singers. _________________ my first baby..
I have never been a fan of American Idol but I do love Ellen Degeneres, so I will probably give it a look if I can get it without having cable. As a matter of fact the Ellen Degeneres show just came on which is a bit ironic since I was talking about her on this thread
I like Ellen too, in her show she was the one exposing the talents from videos and invited those talented individual to visit the set to perform there and be known. Now that she is in American Idol, I believe there is so many talents she will discover and she can give some piece of advice too. I hope her and Simon will Hang out well and American Idol Season 9 will start tomorrow as I am replying to this post.
It will be interesting to see how Ellen does with all those other judges. I wonder if she will get under Simon's skin sometimes. hehe. I really wish Ellen all the best with her new gig. I wonder if it will be difficult for her to do her own talk show and Idol at the same time.
I absolutely love the fact that they decided to choose Ellen to be a new judge on American Idol! I liked the judges before, but now that there is such a mixup of personalities at the judging table, I think things are definitely more interesting this year! Each judge brings a different outlook to the table, and I think that it helps the contestants out more now I love Ellen!!!!
I have seen American Idol before but one episode was enough for me to say that is rubbish. I do like Ellen and I had no clue she was going to be on the show. Anyway I don't like this type of shows especially when they are doing the auditions oh my god some of those people in there are so obnoxious going to auditions when they don't even know how to sing of course we'll see the talent ones but not many of them... _________________ ********_______***********
Well I just thought I would add that I did watch American Idol once while Ellen DeGeneres was on the show and although I really like her, I still couldn't get into the whole thing. I found her funny that night but it wasn't enough to keep me watching it week after week.
