Hi Guys, Just wanted to know if you have any scar removing techniques you might want to share. I have been insecure about my legs for as long as I can remember because of my scars and I want to get rid of them. Help anyone?!

You will note I have edited your post in accordance with our posting protocol.

Now, scar tissue. Its not an area of expertise on my part at all really, but if I was looking for information and advice, I would contact my Doctor who I am sure would be able to point me in the direction of someone who could help me.
Scars can indeed make people insecure and thats why I think its best you go and seek professional help.
How long have you had these scars and what caused them?

There is a product at the pharmacy here called Mederma that is supposed to be wonderful for scar removal. Doctors here recommend it to their patients after injury or surgery to reduce the appearence of the scar. I don't know how long you have had them or how bad they are but maybe that product can help. I know it is also supposed to be good for stretch marks too.

thanks for the replies. i have a scarred knee due to childhood clumsiness Laughing
also i have some mosquito bites and even if i don't scratch them, they tend to darken. and yes i sought a dermatologist already, 2 dermatologists actually and they have contradicting advices which left me more confused. Confused thats why i decided to post a question here. i assumed some users may have used a product already or something. I heard about Mederma unfortunately, its not available here in the Philippines... Sad

I also have a scar on my face cause by acne and it is so ugly. I tried to use many scar removing creams but it is useless so I just leave it behind. They said that the new Dermatix cream is very effective especially in dark scars but it is very expensive.

Sandalwood powder works great as a scar remover. It can remove scars like mosquito bite easily in one week.Scars caused due to injury are far darker and deeper and it takes time to fade for these scars.
Ask your dermatologist he might suggest you chemical pills.Chemical pills work great on deep scars.

Hi there, one great thing for scars is real Aloe Vera. I am sure you have that plant where you are. However it needs to be freshly cut - be careful as it stains cloths and everything else and you can NOT get the stains out.

Cut a piece off the aloe vera plant (don't need too much) and then cut the 'leaf' in half, rub the scarred area with the wet goo that is inside the leaf. This is used in central America and has even made old scars disappear. Leave the goo on for as long as possible (until it dries) and then you can take it off easily either by wiping the area or having a shower etc. If you do this for several weeks you will notice a difference. A lot of people don't like using it because it is messy and it does stain but it works!

Basically the Scars are appeared in any part of our body due to many more reasons, and also there are lots of medical products like applied lotion, cream, are available in the pharmacy and it would be decided by the Pharmacist or skin specialist. Evan the scars are classified by many more types like mild, moderate one, and deep one, and also latest technology of laser would be advised to remove some of the scars, and it will little bit expensive but very effective. There is one more latest cream which is called " Scars Cream " which is manufactured in USA and available in all pharmacy , and very effective for the scars , and is recommended to apply two times in a day for the period of 2 weeks to one month and it will depends upon the condition of the scars at your body. So try this cream and hope that it will be very effective to remove the scars as you have wanted.
