I just recently bought some off of QVC and I LOVE them. They have a timer and you can set them for 5 hrs or 10 hrs. They take C batteries and last a long time. They are pillars in a vanilla scent, I can't smell them, but they look soooo pretty when lit. I have a Glade one too and I CAN smell that one when it puffs the scent.
Anyone else have these?
I don't have any myself, but my one daughter has quite a few of them that she uses throughout her house. She loves them!! I think they're a super idea, and so much safer when you have kids and cats. I don't know if hers has the timer function though, I'm pretty sure the Glade one doesn't, if I remember right. The scents they come in are really nice too. I'm going to have to get a few, I quit lighting candles because of my cats...they are far too nosey! _________________ OK, who stopped payment on my reality check?
I've seen these advertised on TV an I keep saying I'll get some, cos I love nice smellies in the house and anything that is not dangerous is always a bonus _________________ Dee
I have the glade. I really like it but have not found any scent that I really like. I think part of it is that I am a seasonal candle burner. I like my scent to match the season.
JoyfulAngel.....The Glade ones go off on their own in about 3 hrs, mine does anyway. You push the middle of it and it lights. I like it because it "puffs" scent out all the time and then you push the middle and it lights like a candle.
They only have Vanilla, Linen and Apple Cinnamon in the oils but I still use mine, it is in the LR on the TV stand. My DD likes to push it and turn it on hehe.
I don't like the Glade ones because they look awful up close. I have some really cheap ones that run on AA batteries, then a couple from QVC that run on C batteries. The QVC ones definitely are the best and last the longest. The AA ones wear out way too fast, that is, the batteries wear out too fast.
I'd like to try these as I have cats with long fluffy tails and have had some close ones in the past with their tails catching light. I've also had problems with was spilling on carpets, it is possible to get it out but it takes ages. I'll have to shop around as it sounds like some brands are better than others, I haven't seen any in shops so I'll try looking on line.
