One NFL player do not mentioned name was panalized because he knelt down to thank God about a good move he made. Well Our country USA based on believe in God , even our many have the quote"in God we trust" so what happening here ? are we shifting away from our constentutional believe? why this player was panalized? what if he did anything wrong?
That does sound a bit over the top to me, but hey, its your country and not mine
I just said in another post that America seems to get its collective knickers in a knot because it tries to be so politically correct
This simply proves my point. Home of the Free, eh!!! But not free enough to give a god of choice a bit of thanks after a great move in a ball game.
Mind you, Scotland is almost as bad. Glasgow Celtic are a traditional catholic football club, thats soccer to you and me, and if a player in that team should score a goal, run to the opposing teams fans and cross himself
he runs the risk of being cautioned by the referee and killed by projectiles thrown from the crowd in his direction, who are all dyed in the wool protestants who support my team, Glasgow Rangers!!!
I don't know who you're talking about and I wish that you would say the name. Tim Tebow of the Florida Gators thanks God all the time for his talent and always talks about his mission or whatever. Colt McCoy of the Longhorns also said on national TV that God planned it that he wouldn't play in the BCS championship and he's fine with that. And Tony Dungy gave thanks to God on National TV when the Colts won their most recent superbowl. *shrugs* _________________ It is what it is.
