I am so annoyed at the companies that you subscribe too when you buy a phone! Not are the so expensive but also they try to scam you so much! For example on my phone I am on pre-paid and they pre configured my phone so that the internet brower is on my CANCEL key, so when i try to cancel my applications and my phone lags so i keep pressing the cancel key after my programs have closed the cancel key opens up a internet browser automatically costing me 10c connecting fee, then to cancel agian i have to press the cancel button, wow miss press and press it twice boom another internet browser there goes another 10c.

Omg it annoys me so bad, i have lost about $325.10 because of this, no joke. I abused my provider about it but they said: "Tough Luck".

OMG do any of you suffer with this problem?

That is the trick they are playing here also. First they charge you for registering for welcome tunes and then when you feel it is costly , they charge you for canceling the subscription.

Yeah it's deadset wrong, we pay enough for subsrciptions, they are just ripping us off now. I think i might change to a better phone company once my year sim card lock on this phone ends, unless they offer me a better deal.

325 dollars !OMG this is too much.Why dotn you just close everything and change your mobile service provider?
Ghanashyam i had this experience with airtel.They are disgusting creatures.I had subscribe for joke and daily astrology just for fun and it was free .They gave me it free for one month and latter deducted charges in next month.I discover this 2 months latter.I change to idea now.
And i am not going to subscribe for nay such a stuff at all.

I will suggest you to change your handset and sevice provider to if it is costly. Buy a new Nokia cell phone because they are easy to handle and userfriendly.Nokia is good and best in case of service, quality and price also.So change your cell phone to save your money.

We use Metropcs. They aren`t everywhere though. They have unlimited minutes and texting. You can add other things for a low fee but you don`t have to sign any contracts. I love them.

Lol, 325 bucks, haha. If I had lost 3 bucks I would have got it sorted out there and then, I joke you not. People in the UK wouldnt stand for no no! like that. What have you been thinking about letting it run on like that.
Might have been an idea if you had had a look at how the phone was configured before buying it.
Can I ask what make and model of phone it is so I know to avoid it!!!

well i can understand how frustrated you are. i think 325 dollar is just too much. i suggest you change your mobile phone immediately so you foot suffer more. i think you should also approach your service provider or your mobile company's regional office and make a strong case about it. here in india also with the large boom in the number of service providers they are forcing services on users and are sending ads like never before.

To be honest I had a quick look to see what I could find out about it, and I didnt find much at all. But if its just been trouble, advertise it for sale at approximately half the price of a new one. Someone will buy it thinking they are getting a bargain, and you could invest the money in a new one.
Thats what I would do,
