Great pictures but I think these are all geese. I'm no expert but Swans have really long necks and are usually white or black and are very elegant. There is such a thing as a swan goose which these may be. Swans also have difficulty walking on land because they have short legs whereas geese don't have that problem. Of course from these pictures we can't see their legs
That's a possibility. I don't know much about identifying animals and there are so many animals I get mixed up (swans and geese, frogs and toads, chipmunks and squirrels, crocodiles and alligators, etc.). I just think they are beautiful animals. I think you can almost see the legs if you look closely at the top two pictures and the bottom picture. I just looked closer and the second one I'm pretty sure is a duck and not a swan, goose, or swan goose.
Those pictures look beautiful. They really draw the viewer in.
On another note, you mentioned about going to Comic-Con. That would be the one in San Diego, I assume. I looked into it. Seems like a fun event. Last few year, seems like more celebs are showing up to promote their movies. I hope you give us a full report. _________________ Well, once we had an easy ride and always felt the same

Thank you for the compliment on the pictures tubefuldotcom.
In answer to your question, yes Comic-Con would be the one in San Diego. We go every year. I live in San Diego County, but not the actual city of San Diego (it's about a 30 to 40 minute drive depending on traffic and where in San Diego you're going although I think some parts might be a little bit longer of a drive). It does get bigger every year. I will give a report when I get back. I just have to figure out which section to put it in. I'm guessing Just Hanging Out would be the best area for that.
Back to picture taking. There are some nice areas around the convention center that I can take pictures of. I'd just have to wait until there aren't any people around so I can get the good picture of it. That is going to make it a little hard to get a picture of the convention center though because people line up between 5 and 6 in the morning even though the doors don't open until 10. I will try to find things I can take pictures of though and can share on here.

@Actrs12B...I love all the photos you have uploaded here. One can easily make out how much you love photography.I especially loved the fireworks and the dice shaped benches.I have always loved fireworks.
Thanks for sharing. Great job!!
Thank you Hornetlover and cbeee3. I finally got all my current good quality photos in my portfolio along with an index so all I have to do is hole punch the index. There are some of the photos I took that I don't think are portfolio quality, but I still kept them on my hard drive and posted them to my photo website because sometimes one person will like something another person doesn't.
Hello there. I like your pictures. MY favorites in your post are the fireworks ones because there is so much we can do with them - plus I love fireworks
The first one with the ducks is my favorite one from the ducks pictures. _________________ I didn't escape. They gave me a free pass.....
Thank you JenInTN. The places where I took the pictures varied. So far, most of my pictures have either been near where I work, at a park by my fiance's house, or at a park a little behind where I went to high school. I love animals so I will take pictures of whatever animal happens to be there. It just seems that I wind up with mostly ducks.

rya_08, I love animals of all kinds and I'll take a picture of whatever animal happens to be there. It just seems that ducks seem to be around more than any other animals over here. I don't know why the ducks are around more often, but that's just the way it is. We have lots of crows too, but I usually don't have my camera on me when they're around.
Great picture Actrs12B.I to love photography.I like photo of fire crackers taken by you. That of ducks is also good.Nice one! keep updating with more pictures. _________________ London bridge is falling down.
