Are you a Philippine registered voter? Are you going out to cast your vote in the 2010 national polls? If yes, state your reason(s) why you vote for your chosen candidate(s)? If not, why will you not cast your vote? _________________ nick071438
it is our civic duty. that's why i have to vote. it helps strengthen the system. otherwise it will just crumble and there will be chaos.
my presidential candidate should be beyond reproach, conversant of a wide range of governance issues both local and international, pro-poor (70% are poor).

Though i really dont want to vote for the up coming election, I dont have a choice. I felt that all candidates now are nuisance and they are just after the money. I think it will really take time to look for a good leader. _________________ my first baby..
i wish i could be as convincing that it our solemn duty to vote no matter what. we should be vigilant. actively participate according to what you believe in. at all times should we shun influence peddling, vote buying, and all forms of violence.
as a citizen, we owe it to ourselves, our people, and for our children.
don't lose hope yet. there are well-meaning and well-intentioned and performing politicians. or we could try to persuade them to minimize wastage of people's money.
politicians abuse when people don't care. but in places where the media, the church and the academe are respected voices, they toe the line.
Well whatever happens in this election I hope cheating will not manipulate things again. I wouldn't want to hear the next president say what GMA had said "I am sorry. Let us move on" and I hope there will be no cheating that would render the whole Philippines in power outage or shortage.
You are right maning let's keep hoping and pray that this election will lead us to a more brighter future
in a democracy, leaders are there because we chose them. it is up to us whether they should stay in power or they will be replaced. to do this, the power of any elective official should therefore not be absolute. other power blocs like the academe, media, and the church should work hand in hand to ensure political power is held in check.
